Are you a Jordanian private company with more than 50 employees?

Do you have an idea for implementing or developing a project to better attract, retain and promote female talents at your company?

Do you need support in achieving your objectives following international standards and optimal approaches in gender diversity management?

In partnership with the Young Entrepreneurs Association & Amman Chamber of Commerce, the GIZ Regional Program EconoWin funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) is launching the 3rd edition of the Gender Diversity Management Competition for interested companies in Jordan.

Company project proposals must be designed for more productivity, profitability and business growth, and should yield one or more of the following results:

  1. Increase the number of employment opportunities for women
  2. introduce better policies and procedures for gender diversity resulting in more equality in the workplace
  3. improve perceptions of female employees about the company
  4. create a better working environment for all, and especially female employees

Winner companies will receive technical and financial assistance from GIZ-EconoWin to implement and develop sustainable gender diversity management projects covering 40% of total budget and up to 35,000 Euros.

Partner companies from the first two rounds of competition believe that gender diversity management is critical for business success. They became part of a growing network comprising 20 companies in Tunisia, Morocco, Egypt and Jordan. They are increasingly becoming recognized nationally and regionally as companies with ‘best practices’ in the field of gender diversity management.
